Began working on my wife's line, Daniels & Vosburgs & then started working on my grandparents, Metcalf & Strong which has led to primarily Brumback, Wilson, Smith, Hughes, Pierson, Bullock, Simpson, Bowles, Freeman on the Metcalf side & who knows next .... The Strong side has led me into Owsley & Breathitt Co's of Ky. & many last names there. Breathitt Co is where my 5th great's William & Jane "Callahan" Strong settled after coming from Va in 1801. I live in Northern Ky but try to visit cousins in Jackson Co (where I was born) & visit cemeteries of relatives. While there, we photo & collect info of all to try and preserve history. My cousin's grandson, Luke (16) uses my camera & takes the pics while we prep the stones. He's taken about 30% of the pics that's been taken in Jackson Co. Thanks Luke. Have branched out to my cousin's side's, (as we have all worked on this together) Johnston, Johnson, Boggs, Madden, Williams, Wilson, Tincher & much more which have led me into Clay, Laurel, & other N Ky Co's & Franklin & Fayette Co's, Ind. Have also gone to cemeteries in Hamilton, Clermont, & Butler Co's, Ohio as all families have spread out. Also, Gaines on my great-aunts side.

12-2014. I've been working on the Asbury Methodist Church Cem, Campbell Co, Ky for the last four months, (I attend this church), because the cemetery records were lost. I've finished as much as I can find & I've put a copy in the church office & a copy is in the history dept at the Kenton Co Library, Covington, Ky.
2019: A member of church gave me some D-2, a biodegradable cleaning solution specifically made for cleaning headstones. As of 9-9-2019, I cleaned a total of 155 markers in the Asbury Methodist Church Cem, some more detailed than others but was totally pleased with the outcome, especially the four Union Soldiers in the cemetery, as they now look like those in Arlington National. The solution, supposedly keeps algae from forming & will maintain their look for years. This total was all that needed cleaning. Also, in August, thanks to a church member, a plaque was obtained &, with the help of the church youth group, a stone with it attached was placed by Elizabeth Griffith, who now has a name besides "Mother", which was all that was on her marker. .

In May 2018 a member at Asbury Methodist Church presented me with a project. Being on the board of the Johns Hill Cem, he had found an old ledger with the beginning burials starting in Nov 1867. The first 99 were written in old German cursive. With the help of contributor, Carol Sanman, the names were translated & also with research for the past year, I've completed all that are buried in the cemetery. There was 704 in the burial records, to date, & I've found 21 more through headstones there, church death records, & one by a death cert. There's possibly more that will be discovered in the future but, as of May 2019, these are the totals. I'm now in the process of making edits to all that are there of the information I've gathered. As of August, the work was completed & the info was presented in a binder to the Kenton Co Library, in Covington, Ky.

Re-visited the Asbury Cem, finding more burials through death certs & obits but found no markers for them, just open spaces in the lots that they are, supposedly, in. I'm sure that there is a number buried here that will never be identified.
