She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Andrew “Johnnie” Finney; mother, Pearle Barnes Gipson; father, James “Bud” Gipson; brothers, William Curtis Gipson and James “ J. L.” Gipson. She is survived by her son, Monte Lee (Rosie) Finney of Estill Spring; grandsons, John Travis (Tina) Finney and Mark Russell (Dawn) Finney; granddaughter, Kala Brooks Finney; great-granddaughters, Amelia London Leon & Remy Jolee Daniels, Trinity Fayth & Carmen Sloane Finney; great-grandsons, Matthew Ryan Finney, Jacob Finney and Bekkom Knox Daniels; great-great granddaughter, Ellyanna Clair Cowan. Mrs. Finney attended the White Oak Grove Church of God. Visitation will be at Watson-North Funeral Home Wednesday September 13, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. The funeral will be conducted from the Roy B. Watson Chapel Thursday September 14, 2017 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Gum Creek Cemetery in Decherd with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
