Magdalena was married to Johan Gustaf Persson in 1872 at Hommyr, Lycksele, Sweden. Johan was born in 1851 and passed away in 1902. She immigrated to Canada in 1910 and joined her mother, brothers and sister living here. Pearson is the Canadianized spelling of Persson. There are other Pearson’s buried in the Meeting Creek Cemetery and neighboring towns like Bashaw, Camrose and Lutheran cemeteries in the Lloydminster Census division, who may be related.
