Davenport, Wash., April 3 – Samuel Wilford Pershall, 64, a resident of the Long Lake region for six years and a resident of Lincoln county since pioneer days, died at his farm home near Long Lake yesterday. The funeral will be held at the Evangelical church in Reardan Wednesday at 2 pm with the Rev. Plowman officiating. Burial will be in the Reardan cemetery. A native of Iowa, Mr. Pershall is survived by his widow, Grace; two sons, Clyde and Ben, all at the family home, and by two daughters, Mrs. Olive McCulloch of Reardan and Mrs. Esther Chrisman of Long Lake, also by four grandchildren, four sisters and two brothers.
