Dies In Infirmary Here After Illness of Two Months; Funeral Thursday
George B. Rutherford, aged 56 years, died at 2:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon in a local infirmary after a few weeks illness. Mr. Rutherford was brough to the infirmary on Sunday and died Tuesday.
Mr. Rutherford is survived by his wife and seven children as follows: Mrs. Frank Mayne of California; Misses Ethel and Sallie Rutherford of Harr, Tenn.; Simon Rutherford, Guy Rutherford, Ray Rutherford and Hubert Rutherford of Harr, Tenn. He is also survived by the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. William Fleenor, T. B. Rutherford, H. A. Rutherford of Bristol, Va., and Charles Rutherford of Roan Mountain, Tenn., also a half brother and sister, J. H. Rutherford of Bristol and Mrs. Rebecca Shaver of Oklahoma.
The remains of Mr. Rutherford will be removed from the Williams Funeral Home to the home of his brother, H. A. Rutherford, 8 Miller Street, where funeral services will be held Thursday. Complete funeral arrangements will be announced later.

TO HOLD FUNERAL TODAY FOR GEORGE B. RUTHERFORD
Funeral services for George B. Rutherford, aged 56 years, who died in a local infirmary Tuesday will be conducted from the home of his brother, H. A. Rutherford, at 10:00 o'clock this morning by Reverend J. A. Lane of Harr, Tennessee, assisted by Reverend Isaac Leonard. Pall bearers and flower bearers will be selected from friends and neighbors.
Mr. Rutherford is survived by his wife and seven children: Mrs. Frank Mayne of California; Misses Ethel and Sallie Rutherford, Simon, Guy, Ray, and Hubert Rutherford, of Harr, Tenn. He is also survived by the following frothers and sisters: Mrs. William Fleenor, T. B. Rutherford, H. A. Rutherford, of Bristol, Va., and Charles Rutherford of Roan Mountain, Tenn., and a half brother and sister, J. H. Rutherford of Bristol, and Mrs. Rebecca Shaver of Oklahoma.
