Nora "Kay" Pomrenke, age 67, of Delavan, died at 11:05 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 26, 2002, at Havana Health Care Center, in Havana.
She was born on Aug. 6, 1935, in Marion, Ky., the daughter of the late Hubert and Roena Mae Sullivan Herron. She married Henry Pomrenke on Oct. 1, 1962, in Pekin. He precededJune 29, 1995.
She is survived by two sons, Henry Pomrenke Jr. of and William "Bill" Pomrenke and wife, Kandiss; two grandchildren, Adam and Ashley Pomrenke and a
sister: Virginia Curry.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Mrs. Pomrenke was a member of the Delavan United Methodist Church
and a founder of the Delavan Restoration Society.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28, at Davis Mortuary, in Delavan.
Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29, at the funeral home, with Rev. H. Dean Blackburn officiating. Interment will be at Prairie Rest Cemetery, in Delavan.
Memorials are suggested to the Delavan United Methodist Church or the Green Valley Rescue Squad.
