LONG, Mordecai C.—Age 57, Passed away September 26 at a local hospital. Home was in Valleyford. Survived by his wife; four sons, John, Cecil and Orval of Valleyford, Arthur of Dishman; daughters, Mrs. O. H. Evers of Cusick, Mrs. H. C. Robbins of La Grance Ore.; Evelyn, at home;  sisters, Mrs. L. H. Lee of Middleton and Mrs. James Heaton of Spokane. Funeral arrangements are being cared for by the Mission Funeral home, N1322 Monroe.

VALLEYFORD, Wash., Sept. 29.—The funeral for Mardecai C. Long, 57, who died at Edgecliff sanitarium Thursday, was held from the Baptist church Sunday, the Rev. A. H. Bailey officiating. Mrs. Hook and Mrs. Tart sang.
