OBITUARY:
Wanda Christine Martin was born May 1, 1926, at Tonkawa, OK. She passed away at Maud, OK, December 10 at 9:00pm, at the age of two years, seven months and ten days. The cause of her death was intestinal toxine.

Wanda was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Martin, formerly of Tonkawa. She is survived by her parents, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Martin of Siloam Springs, AR, and Mr. and Mrs. E.D. Lasure of Athens, OH. She was in the interesting stage of early childhood and was muchly loved by all who know her.

Burial was at Tonkawa IOOF Cemetery in charge of Mr. McCafferty. Rev. John T. Daniel spoke words of comfort to the parents as

GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN

A precious one from us has gone,
A voice we loved is stilled,
A place is vacant in our home
Which never can be filled;
God in his wisdom has recalled
The boon His love had given
And though the body slumbers here,
The soul is safe in heaven.
