He was a World War II veteran, a retired employee of CE NATCO, where he worked as a Welder for 36 years. He was also a respected Little League baseball coach and a proud member of the Cherokee Nation.
He leaves behind his wife of almost 65 years; his son and daughter-in-law; his daughter; two grandsons and wife; granddaughter; three great grandchildren; two sisters; numerous loving nephews and nieces, grandnieces, grandnephews and many longtime friends.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, William Arbie and Maggie Maize Smith of Oilton, Oklahoma; brothers, Coy Smith, Wayne Smith and Dick Smith and sisters Bessie Beeson and Ruby Bateman.
Graveside Services for Mr. Smith will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at the Highland Cemetery at Oilton, Oklahoma.
