EDUCATION: She obtained her education at Yard School.
EMPLOYMENT: Ruby was employed by Dr. & Mrs. Schnitzer and Mrs. Lehman.
CHRISTIAN FAITH: She was introduced and accepted Christ in her life followed by baptism at Friendship Baptist Church, Yard, Texas. She remained an active member until her adult years. At the time of her departure she was a member of Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church, Dallas, Texas under the leadership of Pastor W. C. Toney, where she served on the Mother's Board.
MARRIAGE: Ruby married Zone Morgan and to this union eight children were born.
DEMISE: After 88 years of sharing life with us, she received a visit from one of God's Angels on the morning of September 21, 2007 at 5:30 a.m. letting her know that her journey was complete. Father, Dennis Mims: Mother, Pearl Casel Mims: Sons, A. D. Morgan and Leonard Morgan: Brother, Curtis Mims, preceded her in death.
She leaves precious memories to be cherished by her six children:
