James Thomas Wilson was born July 9, 1943 and passed away September 25, 2021 at the age of 78.
He is survived by his children, Elizabeth Istre and husband Joseph of Sulphur, Thomas James Wilson and wife, Amy Jo of Fort Worth, Texas; and Presley Wilson of Orange, Texas; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Marie Wilson of Franklin, Louisiana along with numerous other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lou Wilson and parents, W. C. Wilson and Dorothy Mae Gray Wilson.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until time for the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Port Acres United Pentecostal Church, 2725 Highway 365 West, Port Arthur, Texas. Pastor Anton Smikal will officiate and interment will follow at Riley Smith Memorial Park, DeQuincy, Louisiana.
