Charlottesville, Virginia - Patricia Downer Via, 83, a life-long resident of Charlottesville, VA and long-time member of the University Baptist Church passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021.
She was born February 26, 1938 in Charlottesville, Virginia to Beulah and Hartwell Downer. Patricia was a wife, mother, and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of fifty-eight years, three sons, two daughters-in-law, and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Hill and Wood Funeral Home on December 1, 2021 from 6 PM – 8 PM. A funeral service will be held December 2, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Hill and Wood Funeral Home followed by graveside service at Riverview Cemetery at 12:00.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the University Baptist Church, 1223 West Main Street, Charlottesville, VA 22903.
