Bell ringer at St Mary for over 50 years. Hand bells were rung at the graveside as he was buried (from newspaper cutting at the time). There is a photo of him and his fellow bell ringers in the bell tower at St Mary's and boards commemorating their ringing of Grandsire Triples - April 18th 1891, 5040 charges in 3 hours, Richard Faux on first bell.
