Gregory "Greg" J. Melchi, 52, of Gladwin, passed away unexpectedly on August 26, 2019 at MidMichigan Medical Center. He was born on November 15, 1966 to James and Andrea Melchi. On October 14, 2008 he married Sherri A. Krapohl.
He belonged to the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 692. Greg enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, ATV's and beekeeping. Most of all he loved spending time with family and friends.
Greg is survived by his wife Sherri, children; Shane (Sam) Phillips, Mark (Jessica) Melchi, Brittany Phillips, Alex (Kaitlyn) Melchi, Jade Melchi, grandchildren; Daniel, Sebastian, Myah, Noelle, Charlie and Max. He is also survived by his parents, James and Andrea Melchi, his sister, Tamara (Michael) Doman, his nephew, Sam Doman, his niece, Molly Doman.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Friday, August 30, 2019 at Smith-Miner Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 4-7 pm and on Friday from 10 am until the time of service.
In Lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Parkinson's Foundation.
