Linda Souza Richards, age 79, of McKinney, Texas, passed away April 12, 2011. She was born on September 7, 1931, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Joseph Paul and Jane (Cedeño) Souza. On February 17, 1952, Linda married her husband Sidney G. Richards in Patuxent, Maryland. She was of the Catholic faith. She is survived by a son, and 3 daughters, 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives. Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney G. Richards and her parents. A memorial mass will be scheduled in McKinney at later date. She was cremated and some of her ashes were returned to Hawaii and released to the sea with reverence by her children.
