Mary Loretta, 76, 226 Jackson Ave., Cresson, died Saturday, July 13, 1996, at Garvey Manor after an extended illness. Mrs. Parrish was the eldest of 13 children of John Hildebert and Mary Matilda (Kline) McNeill. She was born June 18, 1920, in Pitcairn, Pa., and married Andrew George Parrish on May 28, 1946, in St. Callistis Catholic Church, Kane, Pa. She was a homemaker and enjoyed seeing, quilting, ceramics, and watching her grandchildren grow. Mrs. Parrish is survived by her husband of 50 years, and children: Gibbs Andrew, married to Jayne Yingling, of Tyrone; Kevin Aileen, married to Patrick McMullen, of Cresson; Ted Irvin, married to Mary Kay Becker, of Duncansville; Lex Allen, married to Sandra Zavada, of Altoona; Jetta Ann, married to James Ehrhart, of Munster; Marijo, married to Tom Przybys, of Altoona; and 17 grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters: Mildred Louise Davis of Cape Cod, Mass.; and Martha Janet Barney of Williamsport, Pa.; and brothers: Norbert Carl of Fairfield, Conn.; Joseph Regis of Bolling Green, Ky.; and William Joseph Ryan of Jamestown, N.Y., and 38 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers: John Donald, Francis Clair, Eugene Earl "Mac", Paul and sisters: Hilda Rita, Aileen, and Ruth. Mrs. Parrish was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Cresson for the past 45 years. She was a 1938 graduate of Beaverdale High School, Beaverdale, Pa. Friends will be received 7 to 9 pm. Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Monday at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, where wake service will be held. Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Cresson, the Rev. Dr. David Cronauer. Entombment, church mausoleum.
