OBITUARY
Ruth B. Wall Jones, age 90, of Smithfield, passed away on July 7, 2015. Born in Johnston County on July 22, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Elmond Argo and Minnie Stephenson Barbour. Mrs. Jones was also preceded in death by her husbands Melvin Wall and Wade Jones, and her son Donald R. Wall. She was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church, attended Elizabeth United Methodist Church and was a retired employee of Champion Products in Clayton. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma with Rev. Mike Walls officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 10-11 just prior to the service. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Clayton. Surviving are two daughters, Bonnie Barbour and husband Calvin of Selma, Deborah Wells and husband Dennis of Zebulon; brother Al Barbour of Wake Forest; sisters Mary Helen Ortego of Lake Charles, Louisiana and Zillie Fowler of Clayton; and grandchildren, David Barbour and wife Lisa and children Callie and Caden, Melissa Siciliano and husband Matt and children Tristan and Emily, and Kristen Barbour Baker and husband Chad of Selma.
