Mary Lou Tyrell, 59, of Sandusky, died Monday, July 10, 2000 at Brittany Manor in Midland following a short illness. Born Sept. 25, 1940 in Petoskey, she lived in Gladwin County two years and previously lived in Wilmington, N.C. Mary married Harold Tyrell, Aug. 1, 1970 in Croswell. She was a homemaker.
Besides her husband she is survived by four sons, Michael and wife Melissa Castillo of Gladwin, Joseph M. Tyrell of Wilmington, N.C., Gary Nelson of Traverse City, and Patrick Castillo of Saginaw; one daughter, Kay and husband Frank Oleniacz III of East Jordon. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held at noon Friday at Christ the King Lutheran Church, Gladwin with Rev. David Sprang officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Gladwin. Visitation will be from 10 until the time of the service Friday at Christ the King Lutheran Church. Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin was in charge of the arrangements.
