Rose U. Thornock 83, of St Charles, Idaho, died Monday, December 24, 2007 at her daughter's home in St. Charles.
She was born January 9, 1924, in Idaho Falls Idaho, a daughter of William Thomas and Cleo Peral (Hoopes) Branson. Rose was married to Lamar Isaac Thornock on July 20, 1940 in Randolph,l Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple on August 6, 1988. Mr Thornock passed away on March 31, 1991.
Mrs. Thornock was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved the outdoors, fishing, flowers, quilting and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a son Ross Issec Thornock and a granddaughter, Christine Hymas.
Survivors include six sons, Thomas Isaac (Donita) Thornock, Granger, Wyoming, Richard Lamar (Vroni) Thornock, Leesville, La; Sidney William (Charol) Thornock, Ft Bridger, Wyoming; Norman Kay (Helen) Thornock, Richfield, Utah; Marlin Dee (Patti) Thornock Rock Springs; Chris (Carrol) Thornock, Paris, Idaho; four daughters, Cleone (Glen) Walker, Salt Lake City; Margaret (Glayde) Erickson, St Charles, Idaho; Linda Rae (Benito) Lovato, Evanston; Roseann (Jose) Fonseca, Idaho Falls; two brothers, Arlon Branson, Willets, California; Darrell Branson, Fortuna, California; three sisters, Velda Abrahamson, Fortuna, California; Norma Gomes, Eureka, California; Elva Gracey, Oklahoma, 30 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at the Cokeville LDS Chapel.
