Mrs. Joy Jean Sexton Reich, 83, of Winston-Salem, NC, entered into the more immediate presence of the Lord on November 17, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.
Joy was born on April 9, 1940, to the late John Edgar Sexton and Leasel Small Sexton in Forsyth County, NC.
In addition to her parents, Joy was preceded in passing by her husband, Samuel Linville Reich.
A funeral service for Joy will be held on Friday, November 24, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Friedberg Moravian Church with Rev. James C. Newsome, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will immediately follow in the church graveyard. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Ln, Winston-Salem, NC 27103, or to Friedberg Moravian Church, 2178 Friedberg Church Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27127. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is assisting the Reich family.
