Priscilla went home on May 28, 2024. She had been in declining health for over 10 years and had been bed bound for the past two years. She was a very loving person and had a very generous heart. She loved to work on the family tree and she loved crocheting until her hands wouldn't work right for her.
Priscilla was born at Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on February 12, 1976. Her parents were Jo Ann (Vaden) and Jay Niten. They were a match made in heaven and loved their little girl immensely.
Unfortunately, she lost her parents and never had any siblings. She had several first cousins and lost one on each side of the family before she passed. She was especially close to Donnie McQuinn who passed in 2017 after a short battle with cancer. On the other side of the family, Jason Niten also passed too soon. Jason fought a very short battle with cancer. Priscilla was the youngest grandchild in the Niten family until Jason was born and it looks as if the grandchildren are leaving in reverse order with Priscilla now being the second Niten to pass.
Priscilla loved her little fur baby, Bella Jane, dearly and it is my hope that she was greeted by Bella even before her parents upon her arrival in Heaven.
Priscilla had a strong sense of family and was always happy to hear from or see them. Her devotion to working on the family tree was amazing and she was always happy to find out more about her ancestors.
I am one of Priscilla's cousins and we were close her entire life. Aunt JoAnn made sure of it. I even went to an OB appointment with her (and my Mama) on my 8th birthday just a week before Priscilla was born. I loved her like a sister and will miss her immensely. She was the best human being to have on your side. She truly believed in God and has accepted Jesus as her savior. She happily prayed for anyone when there was a need or request.
Priscilla will be sorely missed by all who loved her.
