Professional Wrestler. College Football Player. Best known for his time with Pro-Wrestling NOAH. Before becoming a pro wrestler, he was a star at his university in Colorado playing for the Colorado State and was an amateur wrestler in high school. He made his professional wrestling debut in 1998 working for All Pro Wrestling (APW) based in California under his real name, Mark Smith. In the Summer of 2001, he made his Japanese debut working for Mitsuharu Misawa's Pro-Wrestling NOAH, where he would become a big name & stay there for the majority of his career. In his 10 years in NOAH, he won the GHC Tag Team Championship twice, once with Keith Walker & once with Akitoshi Saito, with whom he won the 2008 Global Tag League with. He was also a top name working in Puerto Rico for the International Wrestling Association (IWA), winning their world title twice, the Intercontinental title, the hardcore and world tag team titles with Miguel Perez Jr. In February of 2009, he made his debut for the Ring of Honor (ROH), he made 13 appearances for ROH from 2009 until March 2010.
