Anita Louise Buesching Obituary
Anita Louise Buesching, 79, of Rhinelander, WI died on January 24, 2016 at her home in Rhinelander, Wisconsin.
Anita was born on January 24, 1937 in Woodstock, IL to Walter and Eleanor Freeman. Anita graduated from Waukegan High School, Waukegan, IL. After high school, Anita married Neil Buesching and had four children. In 1970, they moved to McNaughton, WI and enjoyed family and friends at their small resort on Spider Lake. From there, they moved to Harshaw, WI and enjoyed life on Oneida Lake. After retirement, Anita and Neil moved to Mountain Home, AR with Anita returning to Rhinelander after Neil's death. Anita enjoyed her family, activities at the Senior Center, was an avid reader and loved to shop.
Anita is survived by her children, Bill Buesching (Rhinelander), Jody Mullen (Gurnee, IL), Cheryl Johnson (Rhinelander) and Karen Eckert (Buck) of Rhinelander. Sister, Mary Anderson (Allegan, MI). Grandchildren, Scott Johnson (Jessica), Curt Johnson, Brooke Johnson, Courtney Mullen, Ben Eckert, Grant Mullen, Dan Eckert (Ashley) and Sam Mullen. Great-grandchildren, Logan, Kaiden, Lily, Matthew, Colton, Michael and Cedar.
Anita was preceded in death by her parents; husband Neil, brother Roger and son-in-law, Russ Johnson.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 28th, 2016 at 11:30 AM at the Spider Lake Boat Landing in McNaughton. A luncheon will follow at Backwaters. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or St. Jude's Children Hospital.
