Retired Chief Warrant Officer-4 Darrell P. Graf passed away June 8, 2008. He was a devoted father and loving husband. He is survived by his wife, Luise; his sons, Dennis and Harvey, their wives Theresa and Kathleen; six grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren, two brothers, three sisters and their families. Mr. Graf retired as a chief warrant officer with the U.S. Army after 30 years service with tours to Korea and Vietnam. He also retired from the civil service after 16 years. A funeral will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Chesapeake Chapel. Burial will follow in the Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
