He was preceded in death by his parents, Devere Young and Wanda Young (Wilhelmi); his daughter Kelly Garner; his siblings, Dick Young, Betty Jackson and Bill Young; and his daughter-in-law Renee Young.
He is survived by his wife Betty Riggle; his children, Mik Young, Rik Young, Kim Young and Wanda Young; and his grandchildren, April, Shawn, Dustin, Dakotah, Tristann, Jaden, Kelsey, Kaylee, Grayson and Apollo. He is also survived by great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Teahen Funeral Home, Vinton, Iowa. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the same location. A burial will be held on at the Bear Creek Cemetery, Vinton, Iowa
