Robin Phillips Obituary
Robin Elizabeth Phillips was born May 19, 1962 in Britt, daughter of Roger and Suzanne (Wibben) Fox. She grew up on a farm near Burt attending Algona High School. Robin obtained her GED along with her mother in 1983. Robin was united in marriage to Richard Phillips on October 11, 1988 in Algona. They lived in Algona until 1995 when they purchased an acreage near Titonka. Robin did home day-care and then worked for several years at the Titonka Food Center. Recently she was working in the Meat Department at Hy-Vee in Algona. Robin loved being with her family. She enjoyed horses, camping, playing darts, going to watch Travis race, and gardening. She also enjoyed watching cooking shows, doing crossword puzzles, and being on the computer. Robin was diagnosed with terminal cancer in May, 2009. Since that time she fought with an amazingly positive attitude. Robin passed away Thursday afternoon, July 22, 2010 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 48.
