Pamela Sue (Griffith) Godlewski, 72, of Newell, Pennsylvania, formerly of Warwood, West Virginia, passed away peacefully, Sunday, December 5, 2021, surrounded by her family at WVU-Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pennsylvania. She was born in Wheeling, West Virginia, December 19, 1948. She was raised in Warwood and graduated from Warwood High School in 1966. After graduation, she went to Washington, DC, where she worked for the FBI as a secretary for several years and then returned to Newell, Pennsylvania, to raise her three sons. She then worked as a home health care worker until her retirement.
She was the daughter of Arthur C. and Sarah (Grimm) Griffith of Warwood, West Virginia, who preceded her in death.
If roses grow in Heaven, Lord, please pick a bouquet for her and place them in my sister's arms and tell her they're from your sister Debbie. Tell her that I love and hiss her and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her in your arms for a while. Because remembering her is easy, I do it everyday, but there's an ache within my heart that will never go away.
She is survived by her three loving sons; two loving grandsons; a loving sister and brother-in-law; a loving niece and her husband; and a loving nephew and godson; two brothers and several other nieces and nephews.
Private services were conducted for family and arrangements were entrusted to Eley/McCrory Funeral Inc., Fayette City, Pennsylvania.
A Memorial Service in Pam's memory will be held at a later date.
