Maquoketa, la., Oct. 14.-Murray Turner, a young farmer, 33 years old, passed away in the city hospital yesterday morning as a result of a severe attack of appendicitis.
Mr Turner had been ill for a week, but seemed to be recovering and returned to his home,. when he suffered a relapse ,and an emergency operation was performed, but he was unable to rally, and passed away.
Born in this county, a son of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Turner, he had spent his entire life in this community, where he had endeared himself to everyone.
He was married March 3, 1915, to Miss Ethel Sutton, who, with two small sons, survives him. His father and two brothers are also living. Ward Turner of Manterville, Minn.. and Ray, of Maquoketa. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon from the East Iron Mill church, and burial will be in the churchyard nearby.
