HOBBS, N.M. - Funeral services for Jane Moody Cox were held Saturday, August 16, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Prairie Haven Memorial Chapel. Interment followed at Prairie Haven Cemetery. Services were entrused to May Funeral Home of Hobbs, NM.
Jane was born August 15, 1933 in Goldwaithe. She passed away after a long battle with cancer on August 12, 2008.
Jane was preceded in death by her mother, Louise Long; her father, Adrian Long; her husband, Charles Ed Wylie; her husband, Jack A. Moody, Sr.; and her husband Oliver "Blackie" Cox.
She is survived by her children Beci Jones of Wolfforth; Jack A. Moody, Jr. and wife Catrina V. Moody of Odessa; Otis Cox and wife Cathy of Hobbs, NM; Kenneth Cox and wife Terry of Farmington, NM; Denise Baker and husband Brent of Bellevue, NB; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
