Charles B. Darrow, 69 years old, died this morning at his home on First Street in Anamosa. Funeral services will take place at the Smykil home for Funerals, probably Sunday, and will be conducted by the Rev. Harry D. Green of the Methodist church.
Mr. Darrow was born April 5, 1866 in Cass township, and resided in that vicinity until 1924 when he and his family moved to Anamosa, leaving his son, Robert S., in charge of the farm in Cass Township. He married Miss Jessie Benedict in 1895. He was a member of the Methodist church in Anamosa.
Those who survive him are his wife, his son Robert C., on the farm; and a daughter, Miss Ida B. Darrow at home.
