Howard Hall Compton, 90, of 7955 Village Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio died Monday, February 15, 1988 in Franciscan Terrace at St. Clair Center. He was born in Springfield, Ohio, November 10, 1897 the son of Howard T. and Margaret C. (Berry) Compton. Mr. Compton served in the U.S. Army in World War I, was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, St. Andrews Lodge 619 AF&AM. He was retired from Appelate Division of the Internal Revenue Service in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He is survived by one son of Florida; one daughter of Cincinnati; one sister of Olmstead Fall, Ohio; three grandsons; one great grandson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Beach Compton; one sister, Mildred Gram; two brothers, Robert and Willard Compton. Friends may call in the Austin Richards and Raff Memorial Home on Friday from noon till time of services at 1:30PM. The Rev. Richard McDaniel will be officiating. Masonic services will be held in the memorial home at 1:15PM Friday. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, the Alzheimer Foundation or the donors favorite charity.
