Juana Maurice, 65, of Port St. Lucie, died Sept. 21 in San Salvador, El Salvador. She was born in San Salvador, and lived in the St. Lucie area for 21 years, coming from Norwich, Conn.
She was a homemaker, and a member of St. Lucie Catholic Church of Port St. Lucie.
Survivors include her son, Raul Maurice of Orlando; daughters, Ivelyne Maurice and Lisa Maurice both of Windsor, Conn.; brothers, Dionsio Ayala, Felix Ayala, and Juan A. Ayala; and sisters, Emilia Ayala, Mercedes Ayala Maria A. Ayala, Candelaria Ayala, and Ana G. Ayala, all from San Salvador.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Maurice; and daughter Michelle Maurice.
SERVICES: Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 29, with a 7 p.m. prayer service at Aycock Funeral Home Chapel, Port St. Lucie. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Sept. 30 at St. Lucie Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart. Aycock Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
