Henry Ruesewald, 83, Helena, Arkansas passed away Monday, October 27, 2008, at the Helena Regional Hospital. Mr. Ruesewald was born November 19, 1924, to Henry Francis Ruesewald and Ethel Jane Banfield Ruesewald in Weiner, Arkansas.
Mr. Ruesewald was a Member of The New Beginnings Church 554 S. 7th Street, West Helena, Arkansas. He was affectionately known as "Mr. Greasy". He volunteered at the Helena Regional Hospital and also served in the Korean War. He was also assistant troop leader of the Boy Scouts of America of Troop 55 at Barton, Arkansas.
Mr. Ruesewald is survived by 2 daughters, Lyn and husband Steve Toney of Wabash, AR, Melanie and husband Dale Kummer of Lexa, AR, 4 grandchildren Julie and Wesley Toney and Matthew and Katie Kummer, 2 sisters Rita and husband Doyle Chadwick of Saugatuck, MI and Nancy Ann Whitton of Melbourn, FL, brother John Herman Ruesewald and wife Beverly of Colorado Springs, CO.
He was preceded by his parents, and wife Helen Ruesewald, sister Mary Lynn.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M Thursday, October 30, 2008 at Roller-Citizens Chapel with Reverend Audie Richardson officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Barton, Arkansas. Visitation is 6-8 P.M.Wednesday at the Chapel.
