Mr. Earmus Handy, the second oldest child born to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Handy was born in Walker County, Huntsville, Texas, February 12, 1914. He spent most of his childhood days in Huntsville, where he attended school in his community.
He united with the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in his early life. He married Miss Lucille Jackson and to this union no children were born. Later years he married Miss Iceola Franklin, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Handy departed this life March 19, 1972 in Houston, Texas.
He leaves to mourn a wife, Mrs. Mary Ellis Handy, mother, Mrs. Willie Handy Davis, one brother, Mr. I. V. Handy, three stepdaughters, four step-aunts, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
