Son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Beacock; husband of Lavinia Beacock, of Wrawby.


On 19 June 1941 HMS Vanessa was escorting an east coast convoy near Cromer Norfolk when she was bombed and severely damaged with eleven men killed and was towed into Great Yarmouth Norfolk by HMS Vesper. Stoker Beacock died of his wounds a few days later.
