Supply - Mrs. Ruby Phelps McCall, age 84, of 1637 Devonne Way, Supply, died Tuesday, December 24, 1996, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. McCall was born in Brunswick County on July 11, 1912, and was the daughter of the late Lucian H. and Ada C. Sellers Phelps.
She is survived by as son, Franklin D. "Losh" McCall of Supply; a daughter, Hilda Hewett of Supply; a brother, S.P. "Tebo" Phelps of Supply; 4 grandchildren; and 5 greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 27, 1997 at 11 a.m. at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service, Supply Chapel, with Reverend Jackie Spillers officiating.
Burial will follow in Silent Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be John D. Hardee Sr., John D. Hardee Jr., Anthony Hewett, Brian Hewett, Barry Chadwick and Jimmy Simmons.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 this evening at the funeral home.
