Charles Edward Breeden, 80, of Indianapolis died March 17, 2009 at the Methodist Hospital. He was born October 6, 1928 a son of Charles E. and Gwendolyn Mae Barker Breeden Sr. They preceded him in death. He married Betty Jean Jones on May 12, 1973 in Beech Grove, Indiana. She survives.

Also surviving are 2 daughters Nancy Wilson of Indianapolis, Charlene Reynolds of Corydon, Indiana, 1 son William Stockwell of Indianapolis, IN, 1 brother Lester Breeden, 1 sister Esther Wagner, 3 grandchildren, Sarah McDaniel, Natalie Wilson, Christian Wilson, and 4 great grandchildren.

He served in the Marines and was employed by Service Engraving and then later by the Star News. He enjoyed golf, storytelling, Nascar, woodworking, and the outdoors.

Services will be held on Saturday March 21, 2009 at 10:00 am at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main Street, Greenwood. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
