Cecil Allen Banning, 67, Clinton, Mo., died Thursday at Veterans Hospital. He was born in Clinton and had lived there most of his life. Mr. Banning was a carpenter for 20 years before he retired in 1965. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Kansas City, and the American Legion, Clinton. he also was a member of the Parks Chapel Baptist Church near Clinton. He leaves his wife, five sons, four daughters, a sister, 17 grandchildren, and a great granddaughter. Services will be at 2pm Saturday at the Consalus Chapel, Clinton, burial in Peaceful Home Cemetery, Henry County, Mo. Friends may call from 7 to 8 pm today at the chapel.
