Edgar Milo Hart is the biological child of Charles and Lula (Gilmore) Hart according to his death certificate. He was a foster son and apparently adopted by Allen and Harriet later as he is buried under the stone of Edgar M. Hobaugh.

Edgar Milo Hart Hobaugh, 70, of 209 West Market street, died at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Whitley County Hospital where he had been receiving treatment as a medical patient. He entered the hospital on March 10.
He was a native of Union township, White county, and was burn on March 10, 1906, a son of Charles and Lula Gilmore Hart.
During World War II he served with the 1534th Service Unit in the United States Army, and was discharged on March 24, 1943, due to his health.
He was employed as a young man as a maintenance crewman on the railroad. He came to Columbia City to reside in 1972, and formerly resided at LaOtto.
There are no immediate surviving relatives.
The body is at the Smith and Sons Funeral Home where friends may call after 7 p.m. today. The Rev. Clark E. Hobby, pastor of the Grace Lutheran Church, will officiate at the funeral service to he held Saturday morning at 10:30 at the funeral home.
Committal services and burial will be in the Swan cemetery south of Avilla.
