Richard was born on Oct. 28, 1936 in Yreka. He was a lifelong Siskiyou County resident. He was a heavy equipment operator in the logging and construction industry. Richard was a former member of the National Guard and he loved classic vehicles.
Richard is survived by his wife Ella "Micki" Perry of Weed; his son Richard Anthony Perry of Arizona; his brother Kenneth Perry of Dunsmuir; and his mother Gerda Perry of Dunsmuir.
He was predeceased by his brother, Gerald Perry and his father Anthony Perry.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17 with a visitation at the end of the service. A graveside commital service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 18 at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Yreka. The Mt. Shasta Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
