Chula Man Died Today at Hospital
Rites for Ruby Eckert Friday Afternoon
Ruby Eckert, 55, of Chula died at 4:30 this morning at the Chillicothe Hospital where he had been a patient three days.
Mr. Eckert was born April 28, 1906 in Livingston County, the son of Henry and Etta May Paul Eckert. On Dec 15, 1944, he married Veola Cooper who survives.
Other survivors are a daughter, Sheila, and a son, Ronald Dean, of the home; four brothers, John Eckert, Chula; Willard Eckert, Meadville and Charles Eckert, Laredo; Stanly Eckert, Chula. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and two brothers.
Mr. Eckert was a farmer living six miles northeast of Chula.
Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Chula Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Kenneth Perry will officiate. The body is at the E.J. Robertson Funeral Home in Chula.
