SUDDEN DEATH BRINGS GRIEF ….MRS. HALLIGAN
Mrs. Patrick Halligan passed away yesterday, at her home in Lone Tree, the end coming with startling suddenness.
She was as well as usual; seemingly, when she went to bed Sunday night.
Monday morning, Mr. Halligan first went downstairs to attend to certain duties, and returned in a little while to speak to his wife — and found her lying on the floor lifeless.
She was 64 years of age, and her husband and five children survive.
They are Margaret, (Mrs. Chet Jarrard); Mary, (Mrs. Henry Schoenberg); Thomas and Larry of Lone Tree; Rose, (Mrs. McLaughlin) of Davenport.
The funeral will be held Thursday morning, at St. Mary's church Lone Tree.
She was a devoted member of that institution; and was respected and esteemed by all its members, as well as all others who knew her in Fremont township and elsewhere in the county.
To these, her sudden death will prove a great shock.
