Daniel Lee Steinborn, 35, of Brownsville, died Friday, November 16, at the Good Samaritan Center in Eugene. Mr. Steinborn was born September 17, 1955 in Lebanon and attended schools in Brownsville. He served in the U.S. Army from September 1972 to March 1974.
Mr. Steinborn worked for several companies including Commodore Corp. in Lebanon and worked as a ranch hand for Spurlin's in Brownsville. He was last employed at Halsey Veneer until an accident in 1980 prevented him from working.
He married Marla Cliver January 10, 1975 at Kelso, Wa. She survives him. Also surviving is one daughter Chris Steinborn of Brownsville; two brothers, Ed Steinborn of Sweet Home and Dennis Steinborn of Crawfordsville; and one sister, Carol Goldwater of Banks, Ore. One brother and one sister preceded him in death.
Graveside services were held Tuesday at the West Lawn Memorial Park in Eugene with Chaplin Debra Carlson officiating. Huston Funeral Home, Lebanon, handled arrangements.
