Daughter of John & Maria Veghte, aged 2 mos & 23 days.

Please note - I copied her DOD as 1814 when I read this cemetery in 2010, and several issues seem to have been raised by this. I am no longer local to this cemetery, and cannot get to this stone; even if it were clearer in person (it appears to be damaged or worn). The Historical Room at the Franklin twp library in Somerset has several cemeteries that were published in the Historical Society's bulletins. I had printed some of those to help read the older stones, but unfortunately they did no go with me when I left New Jersey, and I am unable to confirm the new date.

The only defense I can offer for this change is that the same tombstone is in the background of Sarah's photo (the tall darker gray stone at the upper left corner of her's), is seen in the photo of her brother's stone also. This is also similar to the photo of their father's stone, but not quite - the two smaller stones do not appear in front of it on the children's stones. So she is buried with her supposed brother, and probably very near her parents.
