Virginia was born February 13, 1927 in Salt Lake City, Utah to James (HCO) Thompson and Virginia May Rizzuto Thompson. She graduated from West High School.
She married Robert E. Boyer on October 22, 1949 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was a member of the Methodist Church. She enjoyed family get-togethers in her younger years, and family reunions in later years. Virginia loved good food and going to the movies. She was a great cook, the family loved her potato salad. She said goodbye to everyone, Love You All!
Virginia is survived by her loving daughter, Susan (Buddy) James; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Boyer; her parents; brother, James Thompson; and sister, Lois M. Collins.
Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 South 4100 West.
