Mrs. Bea was a member of First Baptist Church of Premont, TX and was also my Sunday School teacher when I was growing up. She was the wife of Allan "Pop" Snyder for many, many years. He much loved Mrs. Bea and never accepted that he was no longer married to her. When I was an adult and tried to start a singles group for the church, I asked him if he would be interested in participating. Pop flat out told me "I'm not single." Mrs. Bea had long been gone -- probably for at least 10 years -- but Pop was still considering her to be his wife. That's a love that even death can't destroy. They are now interned together and rest until the Lord comes again to call His people home. I look forward to seeing them again at that time.
