In a letter to my family in 1973, my Great Aunt Lizzie nee Fredrick Fenske wrote that "Grand Pa and sister didn't have no stone just a wooden Marker I no that Ma always said that she wished they could have had a stone for them." Ma was Lauretta nee Hochsprung Fredrick.
So to fulfill that wish I had a gravestone made for Franz Hochsprung (Grand Pa) and Louisa Wilhelmina Caroline Fredrick (sister) and had it placed in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. There was no record of the location of their graves but church records confirmed that they were buried there. The location was selected next to Johann and Caroline Fredrich's gravestone because they were Louisa's paternal aunt and uncle.
