C. T. Hargrove, 80, died at his home in Troy at 12:45 a.m. Monday after an extended illness. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 5 o'clock from the family home with Rev. Davenport conducting the rites. Interment was in Roberts cemetery with Hewitt in charge.
Mr. Hargrove was born March 7, 1857. He was married to Miss Della Scot, who died in 1897.
Survivors are his second wife, Mrs. Etta Clem Hargrove, four sons, Wesley, Edward, Joseph and William; two daughters, and three brothes, Coleman, Tem and Jim Hargrove
Pallbearers were Clayton Crawford, Clarence Crawford, Emmet Crawford, Aurvil Crawford, Aubrey Blackburn and Ira Cluck.
