HOUSTON - Mandy Lowery Blissard, age 93, died Wednesday, May 20, 1992 at Floy Dyer Manor in Houston. Funeral services were held Saturday, May 23 at Houston Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Wesley Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Oren Vance officiating. Houston Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
The daughter of the late John Andrew Lowery and the late Annie Galloway Lowery, she was a lifelong resident of Chickasaw County. She was the widow of William Jahu Blissard, who died January 22, 1977 and was a retired homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Jahu Blissard and Jack Blissard, both of Houston; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Earnest Barnes, Dennis Blissard, Ricky Blissard, Vernon Reeves, Derwood McCullough and Gary Blissard.
