George Ernest Gray was a civilian casualty of WW2.

George of Richmond Road, Raynes Park, was a serving NFS Fireman who died in the line of duty. He was the son of Frederick James Matthew and Lydia Gray (nee Copsey) and was the husband of Alice Louisa Gray (nee Doughty).

Sadly George passed away at the Nelson Hospital in Merton and was laid to rest at GAP ROAD CEMETERY (MERTON) on the 30th March 1942. At the time of his passing George was 43 years of age.
